Effective Date: 07/08/2025
By using our website, booking an appointment, or engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services provided by Say Notary, including but not limited to general notarizations (mobile and online), real estate loan signings, apostille coordination, estate planning notarizations, fingerprinting, and document-related support.
Scope of services
Say Notary provides professional notarial and document-related services to individuals and businesses within the United States, primarily in Florida, and internationally where permitted by law. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion — including but not limited to cases involving incomplete documentation, invalid identification, or non-compliance with applicable laws or regulations.
Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and truthful information. It is the client’s responsibility to understand any specific document requirements of the receiving institution, government agency, or foreign country. While we can offer guidance, Say Notary cannot guarantee that a third party or foreign entity will accept a notarized or apostilled document.
Apostille & legalization services
Our apostille and legalization services involve coordination with local, state, federal, and international agencies. Although we strive to process your documents promptly, we are not responsible for delays, rejections, or errors caused by government entities, consulates, embassies, mailing services, or other third parties beyond our control.
Payment terms
Payment is required before any service begins unless otherwise agreed in writing. We securely process payments through third-party platforms such as Square. Additional fees may apply for travel, rush processing, witnesses, printing, translations, or shipping. All applicable charges will be clearly communicated in advance. Payments are non-refundable once the service has commenced.
Remote Online Notarization (RON)
Say Notary conducts online notarizations via secure, compliant platforms such as BlueNotary or other authorized providers, depending on service type and jurisdiction. A stable internet connection and valid identification are required for all RON sessions.
Cancellations & rescheduling
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice at no charge. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee or the full service charge. Missed appointments with no prior notice are non-refundable.
Legal notice
Say Notary is not a law firm, and our notaries are not attorneys. We do not provide legal advice, interpret legal documents, or offer legal counsel. Clients are encouraged to consult a licensed attorney for legal guidance.
Confidentiality & privacy
We treat all client documents and personal data with the utmost confidentiality and care. We follow privacy best practices and comply with all applicable state and federal laws. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
Age requirement
Services are available to clients aged 13 and older. For any notarizations involving minors, parental presence or written consent may be required based on the type of document and applicable law.
Limitation of liability
Say Notary is not liable for delays, losses, or rejections resulting from inaccurate client information, courier errors, government processing times, or external factors. In all cases, our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
Changes to terms
These terms are subject to change at any time without notice. Updates will be published on this page with the revised effective date. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
